Our safe work practices come from implementing our values and principles shown on the safety wheel. SLS is dedicated to providing its employees with a wide range of training.
Our goal is to eliminate all workplace incidents by making sure our employees implement our safe work practices.
Furthermore, we strongly believe that having an impeccable safety team to maintain and enforce an effective health and safety management system reduces injuries and lost time.
The first day of employment, we instill how important safety is. Our high-standard safety culture is a leading indicator of our strong performance.
Driving Safety Home
Every day we get up, look ourselves in the mirror, pay ourselves some respect, and adjust our attitude to take on the day. We do this with integrity, having to do a few stop and thinks as we deal with the communication coming at us that may distract or affect our day. By managing these distractions, we stay consistent. This guides how we participate in the day, remain true to ourselves, and uphold the lifestyle we have created.
This is not always easy; we had to train ourselves to be this way, show our community that we are an accountable member of society, stay true to our culture and beliefs and that we lead our own destiny. We also know we have a voice to intervene with ourselves and others when required, proactively report when we experience things that are not in line with our expectations and performance.
